ART MUSEUM

Founded in 1957 as an art gallery, this museum has become one of the most famous in Siberia thanks to its unique collection of portraits of Russian painters from the 18th to the early 20th century. It includes works by Western European, Soviet and contemporary artists. Decorative art is well represented with tableware from the Imperial Porcelain Factory, objects carved from animal horns and traditional terracotta toys.
