HOLY CROSS CHURCH

This beautiful church of the 14 th century, close to the Monastery of the Trinity, on the other side of the bridge, also deserves a detour - especially if you are going to the monastery (bus 30 or). It overlooks the Toura, and this landscape is reminiscent of the méandres of the Volga in the quiet plain of European Russia. The locals particularly appreciate it for baptism.
