Neviansk, 22,943 inhabitants, is about 70 km north of Ekaterinburg. The foundry-fortress was established in 1701 and passed on a year later to one of Peter the Great's companions, A. Demidov, leader of a powerful industrial dynasty. The metal with the "Old Sable" label that was produced there then became world famous. The greatest curiosity of the place today is the Leaning Tower, Nevianskaya Bachnia, a legendary and mysterious construction from the beginning of the 18th century. You should also visit the magnificent Cathedral of the Transfiguration (1824-1826)
