PLACE OF THE YEAR 1905

Not far from the historic district, the main square of Ekaterinburg. Since 1917 the statue of Lenin has been pointing, according to the popular joke, at the nearest vodka shop! In Soviet times, this place was of paramount importance. All the revolutionary festivals, with their procession of demonstrations and military parades, were held there. From now on, fairs, concerts and numerous New Year's attractions will be held there.
