MARCHÉ

There is a large covered market where you will find all kinds of loincloths, shoes, beauty products, medicines… stands are held by men. Fruits and vegetables are right next door; displays are offered by women. These many fruits and vegetables come from the region of Béïnamar (whose name means «the leaders fighting the kingdom»), which benefits from very fertile land.

In the street, not far from the cathedral, you can find pyrogravées gourds of any size, covered with a brown coating, allowing to keep liquids.
