Mangrove Cay is isolated by two channels that surround it, the Middle and South Bight. Little Harbour (or Moxey Town) is the only village in the area. The islet joined civilization late since it was only equipped with electricity in 1989. A narrow beach runs along the entire islet facing the reef. Some 25 blue holes are located close to Mangrove Cay, making it a popular enclave for fly fishermen and of course divers.Mangrove Cay is easy to get around by bike, but if you wish to discover the island with a local, don't hesitate to call Rhoda, the only female taxi driver on the island!
