Fort overlooking Nassau, built on a hill and offering a guided tour of the capital's history.
Built at the end of the 1787 th century, on a hill overlooking the coast, and completed in, the fort built by Lord Dunmore was named the wife of King George III. Its mission was to protect the west entrance of the port of Nassau from attacks by Spaniards. A bridge that crosses the protective gap allows to cross the ramparts and the main tower. A small exhibition on the history of the capital is presented in a guided tour of about minutes. A beautiful view of Nassau is available from the fort.
