SAMA WAKAN

The Sama Wakan Heritage Home is a unique accommodation offering restored traditional houses with en-suite bathrooms. It is the first and only hotel in the village of Wakan, considered one of Oman's hidden gems. The complex has 9 rooms, including a family chalet. The rooms are equipped with air conditioning/heating and recently renovated bathrooms, designed according to Omani traditions. The complex is also home to the only restaurant in the village of Wakan, offering lunch and dinner buffets, as well as an à la carte menu. Guests can enjoy views over the agricultural terraces, stroll through the orchard and admire the fruit trees such as pomegranates, apricots and vines of Wakan village. In addition, guests can enjoy unique views of Wadi Mistal and the surrounding mountains from the complex. A 4x4 vehicle is recommended to reach Wakan village due to the steep, winding roads. Wakan village is a 1h34-minute drive from Muscat.
