On site or to take, the dishes shown on the menu are numerous. Arabic, Chinese or Indian cuisine, what to eat at low prices. The interior is clean: a few small tables arranged in a pale pink decor, a B-series canteen style.

This restaurant has already proved its worth in several cities, such as Muscat, since 1975. Take the Crowne on the quiet side, i.e. opposite the road, aim for the terrace under the stars and that's it for the outside. Indoors, you'll appreciate the warm decor of the room. It is the hotel's main restaurant, open to all for breakfast. The choice is given between a menu of salads, mezzés, pastas, pizzas, ready-made meals, etc. or thematic buffets for those who are very hungry or who like to taste everything. The local clientele is loyal, willingly elegant, and often interested in the fine wine list.

This Lebanese restaurant, well known to Sohar locals, serves its perfectly spiced grilled fish in a cheerful, noisy dining room. There's a Family corner, for those who've integrated this behavioral practice. From time to time, a horn sounds in the street and the driver's order is taken directly from the lowered window. The Levantine flavors are as seductive and fresh as ever: salads, vegetable purées and these spicy brochettes are a delight. No alcohol, but you can be comforted by an excellent minty lemonade.
