MUSKA CAFE AND ART GALERIE
Nestled in a pretty house opposite the fish market and just below Bait Al Luban, this new address, imagined by two Omani women with a passion for art, blurs the lines. Away from the hustle and bustle of this busy Corniche district, Muska stands out for its elegance. Part art gallery, part café, part souvenir store, this place offers a taste, aesthetic and artistic experience. The setting is minimalist but highly refined. From floor to ceiling, every detail has been thought through to create an elegant setting for visitors. On the plate, very simple dishes (croissants, pasta, club sandwiches, pastries) served with excellent coffee and, on the walls, exhibitions of paintings by ever-changing artists. Several rooms surround the main lounge, one dedicated to Muska perfumes (sold on site), another to the coffee shop, yet another to the studio. With a reservation, you can dress up in traditional Omani costumes, pose for a professional photographer and leave with an unusual souvenir of Oman.
Muska also regularly organizes calligraphy classes, painting, pottery and jewelry-making workshops - follow the instagram account for more information. Umaïma and Hind are brimming with energy and ideas, and are keen to offer visitors original, authentic, high-quality souvenir items. There's no doubt that in the future, this place will continue to hold many surprises. A must-see!
