Salaam Space is a beautifully renovated, three-bedroom house in the heart of the no less charming fishing district of Qantab - a village within a village. The rooms are sober, simple but comfortable, all air-conditioned. Here, you're not really in Muscat; you live to the rhythm of the sea and the fishermen, and the atmosphere is very conducive to relaxation. Salaam means peace in Arabic. Erica, who runs the place, offers yoga classes and even retreats lasting several days, either on the beach or on the rooftop overlooking the sea. Zen.
