The story tells us that this restaurant, an institution in the region that is studying and feeding pigs in the back, was the first in the world to commercialize the famous leitão Assado (the pig of roast milk). What is certain is that, with almost 1,000 seats daily and a room that can accommodate 400 guests (ochlophobes and hyperacoustics abstain), it has satisfied more than one since 1949.
