Lodging that has the standing of a pousada, located in the middle of a labyrinth of paved streets in Marvao.
This accommodation has the rustic charm of a pousada. You stay in two large houses in the village, in the middle of a network of cobbled streets. The living rooms and some of the rooms and suites are warm, bright and well-equipped, with a splendid panoramic view of the valley, while the others overlook the equally picturesque village. The restaurant serves delicious regional cuisine: tomato soup and poached egg, sarapatel de cabrito (kid stew), perdiz estufada. Good hospitality and excellent breakfast.

un panorama exceptionnel
Plus que les chambres, au mobilier vieillot, on retiendra la vue sur la plaine depuis le restaurant. Sinon l'endroit est charmant, le personnel aux petits soins. Le restaurant, plutôt gastronomique, avec de beaux plats (qui restent chers pour le Portugal).

Propre, bien ténu, avec un plan des rues qui se tient sur la crête de la montagne, Marvao a un charme fou. La Posada est à la hauteur, avec des belles sales de réception qui invitent à la relaxation et le repos. Quand on y a été on avait des nuages qui nous faisaient croire d'être seuls au monde!
