This th century church, the oldest in the corner, is worth the detour by Atouiguia da Baleia. In Gothic style, it is devoted to Saint Léonard and, according to legend, would have been constructed with some bones of a whale that would have failed on the coast. Note the magnificent portal of the header surmounted by engraved capitals of mythological representations.
