HÔTEL BARTHOS

Opened since 2008, this three-storey hotel has the most original façade in Butare. And with good reason: its owner, Jean-Baptiste Sebukangaga, is a well-known artist, and he sells his sculptures in a shop on the ground floor. Barthos is the acronym of Beaux-Arts Hotel Sebukangaga. The rooms surround a patio open to the outside, some more spacious and brighter than others, with a bar and restaurant on the ground floor. The rooms towards the avenue are noisier. The whole is well kept.
