In place of the former Presidential Palace Museum, the Musée des Arts du Rwanda, located 4 kilometers from Kigali International Airport, was inaugurated in May 2018. It presents contemporary works of art produced by Rwandan and international artists, but also the evolution of the arts in the history of Rwandan culture. Permanent and temporary exhibitions. The historic building also houses the wreckage of the Falcon 50, which crashed on April 6, 1994, carrying the presidents of Rwanda and Burundi.
