Forget about boat trips and impersonal tours. Biwakwango is a specialist in exploratory travel in Southern Africa. The tours are meticulously designed based on its deep knowledge of the region and the terrain. With an ecological and solidarity approach, the agency offers safari trips (on foot, by canoe, treks), hiking and adventure trips off the beaten track. The staff and guides are top notch and have plenty of stories and culture to pass on. You can contact them in French.

Our journey began at the Witsieshoek Mountain Lodge, nestled near the Sentinel and overlooking the stunning Royal Natal Park. The accommodation was comfortable, and the food was delicious.
After two days, we moved to the Didima Camp, which provided awe-inspiring views of Cathedral Peak. While the camp itself was very nice, the food could have been better. Nevertheless, the picturesque surroundings and the unique setting of the camp made up for it.
Following our time in Drakensberg, again organized by Biwakwango, we spent two nights in the vibrant city of Cape Town, where we stayed in a fantastic hotel, Ocean View House, that exceeded our expectations. We then spent a night in Stellenbosch, staying at Villa Grande Guest House. The wine tasting experience in Stellenbosch was truly memorable, and the town itself was charming. Although the guest house had small rooms and very limited amenities, it didn't take away from the overall enchantment of our stay.
I wholeheartedly recommend Biwakwango for an organized, well-guided, and unforgettable trip to the Drakensberg mountains and beyond. Thierry’s expertise, attention to detail every step of the way, and personal guidance has made the trip unforgettable. Thank you, Thierry and Biwakwango, for a trip of a lifetime!
