A very intense stroke of heart for this hermitage at the doors of the Semi semi-desert, eyes in the eyes with the spectacular immensité of this beautiful part of the country, all the senses bathed by the superb harmony that emerges from this wild plain, which stands in the Chaîne chain. Gill Cullingworth, the very photogenic owner, chose clear tones, beige, garnet, sweet yellow, for dialogue with the patina of wood furniture. Lots of space, nothing overloaded, peace simply. The bathrooms, almost as large as the rooms (5 000 R to), are also very naked, luxuriously monacales. From the guest lounge, the raw beauty of the panorama seems unreal. During 4 x 4 safari, giraffes, antelopes, zebras and rhino hold the poster. The master of the places, Craig, a successful businessman, was passionate about this forgotten hinterland, the Karoo sung by the poets and cooks.
