Visiting conditions and safety instructions are far from being as draconian as in Kgalagadi. The Augrabies is a park mainly for families, and the atmosphere is not as bad as in Kgalagadi. The park is open from 7am to 6pm. You can observe the waterfalls from a wooden pontoon. The park management recommends the period from March to October to get there, because the temperatures are a little more bearable. During the summer, the falls are even more spectacular.

Magnifique parc, pas trop de monde, paysages très variés, certains lunaires, d'autres montagneux, certains plutôt type savane. Tous valent le coup d'oeil. Les chutes d'eau et les gorges associées sont vraiment très belles même si pas très larges en hiver. Beaucoup de points de vue sur les chutes et ses effluents. On voit beaucoup de dassies et d'antilopes. Vraiment bien!
