An 8,000-hectare park, created to preserve the huge flocks of migratory birds attracted by the Mekong Delta.
The Mekong Delta attracts huge flocks of migratory birds. The government is taking steps to preserve this incredible biodiversity and has created the Tram Chim National Park. Ornithologists have identified nearly 30 natural aviaries, some of which contain up to a hundred million birds. Streetcar Chim Tam Nong National Park, Dong Thap province, covers 8,000 hectares. There are 130 species of plants, 56 species of aquatic animals and 147 species of birds, including 13 endangered species.

Réserve à découvrir en octobre, novembre. Quel dommage de l’avoir visité en janvier.. 2 ou 3 cigognes en captivité et 2,3 oiseaux inconnus... la balade en barque est cependant très agréable
