Small airport in southern Vietnam located 3 km east of the city centre. It provides connections with Ho Chi Minh City. A single runway 1,500 m long that can accommodate light transport aircraft. Built in the 1930s during the French colonial administration, then enlarged in 1962 by the government as part of the military operations of the war. The airport came under the control of the Vietnamese Air Force in the mid-1970s and has had a commercial service since 1995. When the runway was extended again.
