This lively floating market used to specialize in the sale of snakes, cobras, pythons and more.
At 35.5 km from Cân Tho by the QL1 to Phung Hiep district (Nga Bay), at the crossing of 7 canals, it was specialized in the sale of snakes, cobras, pythons, etc. However, in 1998, the government forbade the inhabitants to capture these reptiles, indispensable allies in the fight against the crop-eating rats. The snakes are a little less conspicuous, but the market is still lively and there is less tourist traffic.
