Dans un piteux etat il y a quelques années, les autorites ont finalement pris conscience de la situation et ont donc fait le necessaire pour que ce vieux quartier soit réaménagé. Il reste encore à faire mais de nombreux batiments et maisons ont été restaurés et en conséquence on percoit que ce quartier renait a nouveau. De plus en plus de personnes s'y rendent pour prendre un verre et une "tapa" les week end dans les nombreux bars qui s'y sont installés.
