This center exhibits contemporary art collections from the Fundación Botín, including works by sculptor Juan Muñoz
Designed by renowned architect Renzo Piano, this "chameleon-like" building stands on slender pillars with a glimpse of the sea. Its two modules of unequal size, sometimes compared to a flying saucer, offer over 10,000 m² of exhibition space and an auditorium. The center exhibits the contemporary art collections of the Fundación Botín. Each year, the center exhibits the works of the artist who has been awarded the Botín Foundation grant. It also offers a wide range of cultural activities for all publics.
