Cave, classified as a World Heritage Site, with various engravings in Santander.
Discovered in 1903, the cave was listed as a World Heritage Site in 2008. The engravings have suffered greatly from the vagaries of the weather, but there are still some large animal figures, mainly horses and bison, all made with an astonishing attention to detail. An anthropomorphic figure with its arm raised is also clearly visible. These decorations have been dated to two distinct periods, the first around 18,000 years ago and the second around 13,000 years ago.
