Wide natural promontory in Santander offering a bucolic walk to enjoy the birdlife
In front of the lighthouse there is a large natural promontory with impressive peaks. Take the path that starts below the El Faro bar. The bucolic walk takes you through rolling green meadows with magnificent views of the coastline in the background. Along the way, you can also enjoy the birdlife. Several beaches punctuate the path, for those who wish to take a dip. On the way back, a stop at the terrace of the bar is a must to refresh yourself with a vino y tapa facing the sea.

Belle promenade près de la falaise. La vue sur l'océan est splendide, mais il peut y avoir beaucoup de vent.

Magnifique promenade jusqu'au bord du précipice. Les falaises tombent à pic dans l'océan, vue superbe sur la ville à l'est. Le coin est accessible à pied depuis le centre-ville (compter deux bonnes heures de marche en passant par le palais et les plages).
Promenade taken pleasant in June 2011, quite easy except a very steep but short slope. Beautiful landscapes of the sea and its cliffs in layers.
