The former palace of Enrique IV (dating from 1455) permanently exhibits the extraordinary collection of the New York School, bequeathed by the Spanish artist Esteban Vicente, who was himself part of it. In total, more than 150 works of abstract expressionism can be admired. And there is something for everyone in this contemporary art centre in Segovia: collages, watercolours, sculptures and lithographs form a high quality ensemble.

Musée trop cher pour la collection d'un peintre doué surtout pour l'imitation , un suiveur tardif sans originalité, copieur de Rothko, de Pollock, de De Kooning et de beaucoup d'autres encore. Triste , sans originalité, sans inspiration, sans âme.
Esteban VICENTE (1903-2001) artiste espagnol émigré aux USA , ne méritait surement pas un musée éponyme.
