This film festival, one of the oldest in Europe, will delight film lovers with the best independent films.

One of the oldest film festivals in Europe (1956). It presents films by independent authors from all over the world. It has welcomed many directors, both Spanish and international. Among them are Pedro Almodóvar, Arthur Penn, Manoel de Oliveira and Stanley Donen. A Golden Spike(Espiga de Oro) and a Silver Spike are awarded to the first and second choice of film by the jury, in addition to prizes for the best documentary, actors and original music.
