MUSEO PROVINCIAL DE BELLAS ARTES

There are about 2,000 pieces of paintings and sculptures on display in a late 19th century palace. It exhibits more than 300 painters and sculptors, ranging from the 18th to the 20th century. Among them are paintings by Zurbarán, sculptures by Cabrera, drawings by Lorca and engravings by Picasso and Dalí. The museum also pays homage to the artists of Extremadura through numerous works that reflect the regionalist style.
