Although it has many competitors, this more than one hundred year old pastry shop, opened in 1828, remains the great specialist of the pastel de carne, definitely finer here, in the opinion of all. It can be heated and you can enjoy it while sitting quietly on one of the terraces of the beautiful Plaza de las Flores, accompanied by the sound of the fountains. You can also taste many sweets, especially chocolate, as well as various empanadas (salted filled turnovers), all made in an artisanal way.
