The splendor of Toledo's magnificent cathedral reflects the historical importance and religious weight of the city over the centuries. Today, with papal authorization, masses are still celebrated in the Mozarabic rite dating back to Visigothic times. A 7th-century church and then a mosque once occupied the cathedral floor. Work began in 1226 and continued until 1493. The exterior is typically French Gothic; the interior blends various Mudejar and, above all, Plateresque decorative elements.

Très belle catedrale. Depuis l'extérieur, son architecture d'estile gothique est impresionnante avec ses pierre blanches. Par contre, le prix d'entrée pour visiter l'intérieur est un peu élevé! Mias il est possible d'utiliser la porte de derrière pour regarder un peu l'intérieur, qui est richement décoré.

The cathedral is surely beautiful inside but if you are amateur photographer, you should know that it is forbidden to photo the interior of the cathedral and the capture of the entrance ticket, you are not warned, but you can do so refund your admission ticket while battling slightly counter as me you refuse this undeniable fact.
