The oldest Gothic church in the village, enlarged during the works carried out at the beginning of the 16th century
It is the oldest church in the village of Alarcón, located on the natural viewpoint of the village. It is a Gothic jewel built in the 13th century, although the church was later enlarged during the works carried out at the beginning of the 16th century at the instigation of the Marquis of Villena Diego Lopez Pacheco and the bishop Diego Ramírez de Villaescusa. On the outside, its south porch, in the Plateresque style, is noteworthy, and on the inside, its altar, in the Renaissance style.
