From the top of the Pico de los hidalgos rock, this parador is set in a magnificent medieval fortress that overlooks the Júcar valley and the pretty village of Alarcón. The rooms are sumptuously decorated, with beautiful views of the valley. Its restaurant is of course a tribute to Cuenca cuisine, which will give you the opportunity to discover the emblematic "huesos y quebrantos", scrambled eggs with chorizo and bacon, or its Morteruelo, game pâté.

J'avais gardé un très bon souvenir du Parador de Alarcón. Les serveuses en habits traditionnels, un bel accueil et une cuisine raffinée et copieuse. J'avoue que là je suis restée sur ma faim. Quel dommage ! Nous reviendrons à Alarcón mais pas au Parador.

Superbe découverte ! Un accueil fort sympathique mais ce n’était rien à côté du repas ! Des produits frais et cuisinés avec goût et application, une super adresse pour ceux qui aime manger bon et de surcroît à un tarif raisonnable ! Sans parler du cadre magnifique !

Le personnel très accueillant. Le cadre est gigantesque et très froid. Il faut se méfier des titres de plats très "ronflants", et les portions sont très congrues.
