HISTORY MUSEUM (BUDAPESTI TÖRTÉNETI MÚZEUM)

The Budapest History Museum traces the evolution of the three cities: Óbuda, Pest and Buda (which merged in 1873), from the conquest of the country to the present day, as well as the history of the castle. The exhibition is spread over four floors, the middle floor is filled with colorful panels in Hungarian and English, as well as an interactive part for children. Beautiful reconstructions of Budapest interiors over the centuries. Worth the visit!
