In the green, in Buda, the residences where the famous Hungarian composer Béla Bartók spent his last eight years before emigrating to America in 1940, fleeing Nazism. The museum traces the musician's life and presents a number of objects that belonged to him, such as his work objects, as he and his friend Kodály beat the countryside to collect precious folk songs and rhymes in Central Eastern Europe and even North America.
