A remarkable library with a beautiful view of the Danube, an address for discovering old and more recent books.

The path to the library passes under the arcades of the Parliament, runs along the river and offers a unique view of Buda and the Danube. To the right of the entrance, after the metal detector, is the cloakroom (ruhatár); to the left, the door to the library. The reading room is all wooden, lined with old or more recent books. Its windows overlook the Danube, which gives the place its majesty. Attention, closed in August, reduced hours in July.

The building does not look much from the outside. It is located on the side of the Parliament. But the reading room is typical old libraries: old books and wood panelling. Not to mention a magnificent view of the Danube!
