New restaurant located next to the Thália Theater and the Operetta. When you walk in the door, you immediately understand that what motivates everyone here is the love of wine, good food and hospitality. So expect a warm welcome and a wide selection of excellent wines, including champagnes. The food served is simple, authentic and natural, mainly tapas, recipes that the chef brought back from the Basque Country. Those who don't like it can enjoy hot dishes or salads.

Open from 6pm to 11pm/night from Tuesday to Sunday. Between 3,000 and 6,000 Ft a board. Hot dishes from 4 000 ft. Accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Owner's Message

Can you imagine an obsessive winemaker who makes wine and champagne from long-forgotten grape varieties that are also served in starred restaurants? Or his friend from Mád? For him, hospitality is in another dimension. And so is his wine. And then there is the winemaker's companion and his wife. You arrive unexpectedly, but you are almost obliged to stay. They always have a good bite for you. The winemaker's daughter has been working with her dad for as long as she can remember. It's in her blood to appreciate and seek out local wine specialties. The N28 WINE & KITCHEN was the brainchild of this group of friends with family ties. It was our idea.

Absolutely a must see spot in Budapest. Subtle and cozy small restaurant in the city centre. The food is delicious and in top range of the places visited. The staff extremely friendly and helpful. Kudos to Sandor who made our dinner very special and memorable.

Sandor, our server, was excellent! His wine suggestion were perfectly accurate with everything we had. Every bite of entrees and main dish were an gustative experience. Highly recommend the place, and especially if you have the chance to be accompanied through it by Sandor.
