Vapiano is THE no-surprise solution for travelers in search of ease and simplicity, in the city center, as well as further away from the center, in Óbuda (several addresses in town), without sacrificing taste, nor putting too much strain on the budget. A replica of a brand that is a hit in Germany, they prepare all the dishes: pasta, pizzas, minestrone... right in front of you and they give you a buzzer that vibrates when it's ready. Simply put. The red leather club chairs welcome you in the middle of spices, basilica and olive trees, it is the dolce vita.

Food is realiable as this chain deliveres quality fast food. They are slow though, used to be faster. It’s a self-service restaurant, you order at a digital touchscreen and then you bring your plate to a desired table. Despite the very nature of the service, an extra service fee is added to the bill. This practice is new to Vapiano and is not justified. Another thing I found weird is that they don’t give you the drinks you ordered by default when you receive your food, you have to ask for them and show the receipt even though you have your unique vibrating marker you hand back to them to prove your purchase. It’s official: the Vapiano experience is not what it used to be.

Életem legfinomabb pizzája lett volna, ha melegen kapom meg. A férjem pizzája konkrétan hideg volt. Sajnálom hogy egy ilyen finom pizzát, jó helyet ilyen dologgal rontanak el. Nem tudom mi az oka, nem kapcsolták be az összes sütőt? Alig voltak amikor itt voltunk, mégis vártunk, és annyival volt a férjem pizzája hidegebb az enyémnél, mintha előtte sült volna, az enyém meg mintha a sütőből kivétel után még kiment volna a személyzet egy gyors cigiszünetre.
Ennek ellenére szeretnék még visszajönni és adni még egy esélyt, hátha megkapom a fantasztikus pizzát melegen.
