Αν θέλει κάποιος να φάει καλό κρητικό φαγητό στο νόμο Χανίων Πλατεία Κανδανος φοβερο ντάκο ,χρόνια κατεβαίνω στα Χανιά και τουλάχιστον μια φορά θα φάω στο συγκεκριμένο μαγαζί ✅✅✅

Είχαμε την χαρά να απολαύσουμε την ωραία κρητική κουζίνα με τοπικά προϊόντα σε αυτή την ταβέρνα που είναι ανοιχτά ΚΑΙ εκτός σαιζόν. Μεγάλη υπόθεση να μένουν κάποια πράγματα ανοιχτά και το χειμώνα για ντόπιους και για τους χειμερινούς τουρίστες (που το καλοκαίρι δουλεύουμε!). Τσιγαριστό αρνί, γίγαντες, κρεατόπιτα, λευκό κρασί, τσικουδιά: όλα νόστιμα, σωστά μαγειρεμένα και σερβιρισμένα γενναιόδωρα. Αν περνάτε από το ηρωικό αυτό χωριό, σταματήστε για μια απολαυστική στάση, δεν θα το μετανιώσετε!

Die Taverne hat ein nettes Ambiente. Man kann drinnen und draußen sitzen. Drinnen wird in der kälteren Jahreszeit mit einem urigen Holzofen geheizt. Das Personal ist sehr nett und spricht gut Englisch. Hier gibt es keine Speisekarte. Man bekommt die Gerichte, die vorhanden sind, genannt und kann sich etwas aussuchen. Die Preise sind extrem günstig. Wir hatten beide die sogenannten Spicy Meatballs in Tomatensoße mit frittierten Kartoffeln dabei. Die Portionen waren groß und es hat sehr lecker geschmeckt. Als kostenfreien Nachtisch haben wir noch Kuchen und Raki bekommen. Das Ganze sollte dann zusammen mit einem halben Liter Wein 19.10 Euro kosten. Kostenlose Parkplätze sind auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite genügend vorhanden.

Το καλύτερο φαγητό στην Κάντανο. Εξαιρετικό μπουρέκι, κλασικά σουτζουκάκια με μακαρόνια, μπριζόλα εξαίσια. Και οι ανθοί και όλα τα μαγειρευτά εξαιρετικά

Εχουμε ξεφυγει λιγο απο την παροδοσιακη κρητικη κουζινα και να μην κανουμε αυθερετες παρεμβασεις και εννοω την κρεατοτουρτα

Νόστιμο, ψυχικό, ευχάριστο, ατμοσφαιρικό, σαν σε αληθινή οικογενειακή ελληνική ταβέρνα. Ό,τι και να παραγγείλετε, όλα θα είναι στο υψηλότερο επίπεδο. Τοποθεσία, εσωτερικό, συμπεριφορά - υπέροχο.

Pretty unfriendly, hostile lady who works there. Breakfast time. Unable and unwilling to serve you properly. The most un-Greek hospitality I’ve come across. Informs you not to feed the cats as it’s a hygiene hazard. Not sure where she thinks she lives lol.

We had a very good lunch here. We had spicy meatballs and greek salad. Both were excellent! We have shared 1 portion, and it was enough for 2 of us. We highly recommend this place.

Second time we have stopped to eat here. Friendly, helpful owner. Guided us to excellent choice of vegetarian Greek dishes. Wonderful authentic Greek food.

Sehr authentisch und super preiswert. Nette Bedienung, gutes Essen, zum Nachtisch gibt es reichlich gratis Raki. Vom Hauswein rate ich ab.

Excellent!!
This was the best meal I had in Crete during my two week vacation! Samantha, the owner and hostess, was very friendly and helpful, not only with choosing which dishes to order, but also explaining the history of the village and recommending sites to visit that were close by! Bravo ???? I cannot stress how much I recommend this restaurant!!!
