Lake in the center of the city of Agios Nikolaos.
Located in the centre of the city, it is 64 m deep. According to the legend, Artemis and Athena washed their hair there while some of the inhabitants of the city will tell you that it has no bottom... In 1867, the local governor of Christian religion, Pasha Kostas Adossidis, built a canal to connect it to the sea a few meters away. Today it is a small inland sea with always blue waters. At nightfall, they are reflected on the small cliff that surrounds it. Many restaurants have been set up on the lake shore.

CE PETIT LAC SITUE EN PLEIN COEUR DE LA VILLE EST ENTOURE DE RESTAURANTS. IL Y REGNE UNE ATMOSPHERE DELICIEUSE. AU FOND DU LAC UNE PETITE CHAPELLE. TOUT CECI EST UN CADRE FORMIDABLE POUR DE BELLES PHOTOS

Un petit lac d'eau douce à la base (si j'ai bien compris) qui a été relié à la mer par un canal. Belle petite balade agréable - il est proche des magasins, des restaurants et des bars et du port. Un bel endroit pour se promener en revenant d'une balade en mer (Spinalonga par exemple). Nous avons vu une belle tortue dans le port ... On nous a dit que c'était la mascotte du port ...

Petit lac central d'Agios Nikolaos. En plein centre-ville, un petit havre bleu entouré de restaurants... mais aussi et surtout d'une petite promenade qui surplombe le lac d'un coté. De quoi prendre de jolies photos et se reposer quelque peu a l'ombre !
