Minoan villa in a remarkable archaeological site of Kokkini Hani.
It was here that researchers found a 1,000m2 Minoan villa dating from the 16th century BC. Whether it was a priest's house, a center for religious rituals, or a factory for ceremonial objects, remains unclear. Numerous votive objects were discovered, including oil lamps, consecration horns, double axes, altars and cult objects... now on display at the Heraklion Archaeological Museum.
