The beach in the Sidi Fredj tourist zone is wild and undeveloped, but not lacking in charm, although it is one of the busiest. The sandy beaches of Sidi Fankhal, 20 min east of Remla, are also pretty. The sea here is a little deeper. To get there, you have to cross a small salt desert, the Sebka. Ask for a guide, as it's difficult to get to. The famous Mkaren Klifa beach lies at the western end. Last but not least, Sfax's most popular beach is close to the pier, and remains a pleasant, if sometimes overcrowded, spot.

on the contrary: wild beaches therefore idyllic! In Fankhal, buildings make very fresh fish bbq... invitations if affinities!
