CAPITOL

Located next to the forum, this capitol, the largest in Africa, is raised in relation to the latter and is accessed by a large staircase.

One can still admire four of the six columns, high up to 9 m, which made the majesty of this monument dedicated to the emperors Marc Aurèle and Convenient. The capitol also includes the Temple of Peace, designed to attract the protection of Jupiter, Junon and Minerve.
