Built in 1924 on the site of the Palace of the Sea Sufferers, this oceanographic museum presents the wonders of the marine world through eleven thematic rooms: Tunisia marine country, Tunisia and the Mediterranean, freshwater aquariums, lagoons, islands and protected species, etc.. It is a place of history and science, which works for the conservation of the national maritime heritage and the progress of research and knowledge.
