MUSEUMS OF THE VILLAGE OF HOLLÓKŐI (HOLLÓKŐI MÚZEUMOK)
Walking along Kossuth Avenue, we will pass in front of several small museums, all housed in Paloc village houses. The explanations are given in English and Hungarian.
The posta múzeum (post office museum) at number 80 presents a collection of stamps and traces the history of mail delivery.
The Falumúzeum (village museum) at number 82 allows you to enter a traditional Palóc habitat.
At 84, it is Kézműves Nyomdaműhely (a printing workshop), at szövőműhely, the weaver's house, at 94 is ideal to deepen your knowledge of weaving.
In 96, the palóc babamúzeum houses a rich collection of dolls in folk costumes.
The Tájház is the ecomuseum, at 99 - 100, presents an exhibition on the fauna and flora of the region.
In addition, there is the "Legendák Háza Panoptikum az Ófaluban", which exhibits several historical wax figures, without much interest, actually.
