ZSOLNAY MUSEUM (ZSOLNAY MÚZEUM)

In chronological order since the opening of the manufacture in 1853, porcelain services, decorative objects and earthenware tiles (used for facade decoration) from the famous manufacture of Pécs are presented. These porcelain are renowned for their unique style and exclusive manufacturing process.

The Gothic building, where the museum is located, is one of the oldest in Pécs: it dates back to the second half of the th century. On the patio you can see modern sculptures by Imre Tóth, said Amerigo (1909-1984), Italian sculptor of Hungarian origin. The neighbouring museum is a stone museum of the Renaissance era.
