Rescue center to help animals distressed by heavy deforestation in Guanacaste

Lily Bodmer de Hagnauer and Werner Hagnauer, now deceased, founded this center more than 30 years ago to help animals that were victims of deforestation at the time. Every year, many animals are brought to the clinic. They are treated and then sent to a rehabilitation center. Felines (jaguars, ocelots, pumas...), monkeys and many birds such as scarlet macaws live in the sanctuary, the only part that can be visited.

Petit parc pour voir de très près des pumas, jaguar, perroquets, singes,... Un peu cher mais bonne étape pour se dégourdir les jambes si l'on passe dans le coins. Vu que c'est financé par les visites, ça les aide aussi pour le bon travail qu'ils font.
