Hacienda Baru offers air-conditioned cabins located in front of an ozone purified pool
It was originally a private reserve - the Barú Reserve - which since the early 1970s has protected a piece (330 hectares) of rainforest and mangrove swamp and the animal species that live there. There is a mariposario (butterfly farm) and an orchid garden. Restaurant in a rancho. To visit this interesting and well presented reserve, it is better to inform the Ewings (!) a few days before. You can also spend the night on site in one of the cabinas. The 6 upper cabins have air conditioning, and are located in front of an ozone purified swimming pool. Many activities are available (hiking, canopy, overnight in the jungle...). Hacienda Barú participates in local community education and health projects with donations of money and equipment.
