Read moreThe wooden bungalows are quietly distributed in the garden and offer a view of the forest or the river Savegre. There are many possibilities for guided or non-guided strolls, bird watching (quetzales) through the beautiful virgin forest. You should not miss the visit of the National Park of Los Quetzales, which is a few kilometres away. Bikes can also be rented for a day excursion with lunch-box (USD 6). The lodge has a restaurant "El Quetzal" which offers an international and local map. But the chef's specialty remains trout. Freshly caught in the river that crosses the area, it's definitely the dish to test. Vegetarian menus are adaptable upon request. Finally a bar on the edge of the river makes it possible to spend a moment relaxing almost the feet in the water!
