According to the locals, this is the best typical restaurant in the city. Here, there are no special tourist prices, Ticos and gringos are on the same level in this big place located near the Mercado Central. On the menu, casados of course, but also soups, rice dishes, fried and roasted chicken, gallo pintos for breakfast and delicacies to take away like platano maduro con queso. The decor includes large wooden tables, giant puppets at the entrance and in front of the bathrooms, and onions on the ceiling! It's like being there.

Rien a dire le petit futé ne s'est pas trompé, une adresse locale où les autochtones comme les touristes de passage se retrouve. En pleine ville, c'est bruyant, typique, service au cordeau, personnel réactif et des plats bien préparés et copieux. Pour ma part j'ai opté pour les travers de porc avec yuca frits. EN dehors du yuca un peu sec, le reste était parfait. Bon jus de citron et menthe;
